This week we had the third and final PMA visit at Murray Hill Place in NYC. It’s amazing to see how far the team has come since August. There has been a real transformation! Throughout the program, each team member grew in self-leadership, collaboration, and professionalism. Their motto for the program was «Dream Big,» and many of their dreams have come true.

The PMA has made it possible to improve the quality of care they provide for the residents and guests, starting with their own house. The first pillar of the PMA is teams, and doing this project together helped them really come together as a one. They learned to dialogue, manage conflict, and have effective meetings. Because of the systems and tools of the PMA, they are able to prepare for the needs of the house with greater calm and peace of mind. They have a more sustainable schedule and more time to think about and plan their work, both individually and collaboratively. Being the first house to implement PMA in the United States, they are looking forward to sharing what they’ve learned with other centers in the region!
